Special Issue on the Dyes and Pigments journal
The IC3EM conference series, were created in 2014 by the PROTEOMASS Scientific Society and the BIOSCOPE Research Group at the LAQV-REQUIMTE- FCT UNL in Portugal covering news and oldest dyes and light field studies. Since them PROTEOMASS Scientific Society have fostering the creation of international collaborative teams to boost advances in the chromogenic and emissive material fields. To continuous with this outstanding scientific event, the fifth IC3EM edition will highlight the impacts and advances in Colors and Light sciences during the last 10years. (www.ic3em2022.com)
I am pleased to inform that the Editors in Chief of Dyes and Pigments, Prof. Mark Heron and Prof. Mark Wainwright have agreed with the publication of a Special Issue devoted to the 5th IC3EM 2022 conference (invited papers). The handling editor for this special issue will be the Associated Editor Prof. Carlos Lodeiro.
All invited Authors are encouraged to review the “Guide for Authors” for formatting instructions and submission requirements (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/dyepig). As highlighted in the Editorial of Volume 154, July 2018, the acceptance criteria to the journal have been tightened. All manuscripts must fall within the Aims & Scope of the Journal and will be subjected to standard peer-review and revision processes.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue we are editing, it is important that authors select VSI: 5th IC3EM 2022 when they reach the“Article Type” step in the submission process.
In case, if the author submits it to the incorrect article type, please bring it to my attention immediately to fix this within 2 working days after submission.
All submitted papers approved by the Editorial office and be in the journal scope will be send to at least to two external reviewers.
In order to meet publication deadlines, corrected proofs of all accepted manuscripts need be submitted by July 15th, 2022 for guaranteed inclusion in the Special Issue and publication within the Journal.
First Review invitations: 1st September 2021
Submission Start Deadline = 10th January 2022
Submission Deadline = 30th July 2020
Editorial Acceptance Deadline after revision: 1st November 2022
Please note that all articles will be published in regular issues after acceptance, and a SI link will later be created to group special issue article
